FAQs

I placed an order, how long do I have to wait until I meet her?

We typically ship orders within 1-3 business days, but we appreciate your patience if, God forbid, a pandemic or bank holiday slows down the process.

I’m interested in a ring but am unsure about sizing, what now?

If there’s a will, there’s a way! Click here to find your size, and do not hesitate to email us at customercare@beabongiasca.com if you need further assistance.

My Baby Vine Ring doesn’t fit perfectly, can I adjust the size myself?

No, unfortunately you cannot because the enamel that has been carefully painted by hand over the silver or gold has been ‘set’ to that shape. By trying to open or close the ring, you may weaken the enamel casting and metal beyond repair.

Now the good news! If you ordered a wrong size, please email us at customercare@beabongiasca.com and we will be happy to process your exchange. Terms for pre-ordered pieces or custom requests may differ.

What payment methods do you accept? Can I pay in kittens?

As much as we would love to have your fluffy kittens, we currently only accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, and Bancontact.

We also accept payment via bank transfer within one week of purchase–kindly email us for bank transfer details. If you are experiencing issues at checkout, please do not hesitate to reach out and we’ll be happy to assist you.

How can I take good care of my precious jewels?

Click here for a step-by-step tutorial!

Every so often on a self-care Sunday, clean your Bea Bongiasca jewels using hot water (never boiling), a biodegradable soap, and a clean toothbrush. Gently scrub the stone, enamel, and metal to restore its original shine.

Alternatively, you may use an ultrasonic cleaner (always with a biodegradable soap) and hot (never boiling) water. The enamel can be submerged for a few minutes but not for more than 3 minutes.

What countries do you ship to? Am I on the no-fly list?

Let’s hope not! Click here for a list of all the countries we ship to. If yours isn’t on it, please email us at customercare@beabongiasca.com as we may be able to organize a special shipment just for you.

What are the shipping costs? Are customs, duties, and taxes included?

It depends on where you live, you can find shipping rates here.

Unfortunately, we are not responsible for import duties if they are not included in the shipping, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country of destination (we know, duties and taxes are SUCH a pain).

Grrrr, the item I want is only “available for pre-order." What does that mean?

Pre-order means that your desired item or size is not currently in stock but can be made for you within 5-7 weeks, less holidays like summer closure or winter break, in which case it can take up to 10 weeks.

Kindly note that we do not accept returns for pre-ordered items or custom-made orders. Exchange terms may differ as well.

I’m not happy with my purchase, can I return it?

So, this is what heartbreak feels like? We accept returns within 14 days of the delivery confirmation date as long as the piece is new, unused, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging. Please email us at customercare@beabongiasca.com with your request, order confirmation number, and a photo of the piece.

Please note that we do not accept returns for pre-ordered items or custom-made orders. For further information, kindly refer to our terms and conditions.

Can I request a custom piece?

We are always happy to cater to our clients whether they are seeking engagement rings, variations of pieces that already exist or even something entirely new. In some cases we offer personalized engravings (but will need to be notified in advance).

Please write to us at info@beabongiasca.com with your custom request and we will let you know if it’s something we can do. Kindly note, however, that we do not accept custom requests for Baby Vine Tendril Rings as they already come in a multitude of enamel colours and gemstones.

All custom orders require full payment in advance. All custom orders are final sale.

The jewellery description lists silver as a component, but I don’t see any silver…

The silver in some of the pieces is covered in enamel, and so is not visible to the eye. We use silver in some pieces because, especially for earrings, gold can be too heavy and thus uncomfortable.

It also doesn’t make sense to charge more for an all-gold piece when the gold wouldn’t be visible, you can thank us later!

Why do you use 9kt gold instead of 18kt? And what is the difference anyways?

9kt gold is still gold, it just has a lower percentage of it in the alloy than 18kt (and thus a lower price point too). As a young brand, it is very important to us that our designs are accessible to millennials and so, for this reason, we chose not to start our collections with 18kt gold.
